Autumn is here...

The summer is definately over....booo!!

However i love autumn, the light the colours the falling leaves, nature is such an inspiration especially in floristry. Warm tones of reds, burnt oranges and yellows are typically assosiated with autumn tones, though i like to mix it up with abit of pink, orange and pink is one of my favourite colour combinations!!
Here is a little glimps into the shop at the moment!!

Aselection of our fresh flowers

Beautiful Cymbidium orchids back in season

Fabulous Chrysanth Blooms

Some harvest fruits for decoration

I put these Physalis heads to a string bullion wire and hung them in my window, it justs screams Autumn has arrived!

Great idea for the halloween party....

Finally my Autumn / Halloween Window Display, as you can see its best seen at night, gives it more of a spooky edge!!

Michelle's Wedding Bouquets

The Bridal bouquet is simple but beautiful. Head to head Cream Vendella roses surrounded with foliage and tied in cream ribbon.
The heart charm was provided by the bride, i was asked to incorporate it into the bouquet as its "something old" and has special significance.

The bridesmaid bouquet is a hand tie of cool water & vendella  roses and blue moon spray roses, fressia, veronica & foliage.

Country Chic Boutique

Inspired by my latest country style wedding.......
Using old retro pots and containers such as this marmalade pot is very fashionable at the moment, so search your cupboards and use them!!

I love tea cup arrangments, they make a lovely feature on a table and are easily sourced from charity shops.
Here i've put a few stems into a tunbler, you cant get more natural than that!!

I've used rosemary as foliage which is a wonderful texture and fragrance!!

I bought this vase in Alexanders, i love it even though it says kitchen utensills on it its clearly a perfect country style vase!!

Gorgeous Ranuncula rose, tones well with the blackberries and viburnum berries.

James & Ellie's Country wedding flowers...

Its been a beautiful day, and no doubt a beautiful wedding. Unfortubately i did not make it to the church to take photos but i got loads of the bridal bouquets and buttonholes.
Ellie's Bouquet was a beautiful country chic inspired hand-tie. Sweet avalanche roses, spray roses, ammi, veronica, rosemary, waxflower, astilbi & black berries.
The bridesmaids were similar to the bridal bouquet.
Bridesmaids also wore hairpieces, made with spray roses, waxflower and blackberries.

Im very pleased with this wedding, i think country chic was well and truely achieved!!

Latest Bridal bouquet & buttonholes

This bouquet was all about colour!! It turned out really well and the colours really compliment each other. Although the bouquet and buttonholes were the only flowers the couple wanted i like the way they didnt compromise on quality!!
The bouquet is full of colour, yellow and pink roses, celosia, purple lisianthus and agapanthus, pink and orange germini, surrounded by mini aspidistra leaves and tied in cerise pink ribbon.

the grooms buttonhole compliment the colours in the bouquet.

The best man's buttonhole co-ordinates but is different.

Cant wait for my next wedding in a few weeks, a lovely country style theme, its all about natural looking loose style bouquet, textured materials and subtle colour combinations.
